Oil and Gas development has provided immense value to the province of Alberta, but now the tides are turning. Companies are scrambling to keep up with their growing list of liabilities and many are going bankrupt. The remaining oil companies, Provincial government and families of Albertans are left to clean up the messes left behind by these bankrupt companies. Rather than spending enormous amounts of money to return all of these liabilities to original land use capability, wouldn't it be great if they could add value again? What if they could even regenerate Alberta's economy?

Think of the economic and carbon emissions benefit from installing renewable energy infrastructure onto un-reclaimed oil and gas leases, or the benefit for a community in creating recreational spaces from multi-well pads and seismic lines.

During this session, Juli Rohl from The Alberta ReGeneration Project will demonstrate how applying a circular economy framework to your existing processes will enable you to create new opportunities for yourself and your clients. You will learn how to generate innovative solutions to these expensive problems.

Sponsorship opportunities available, contact Marissa Reckmann to inquire.
