PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE The National CLRA conference was a success in Kimberley, BC this past September. A huge thank you to the BC TRCR organizing committee for having the CLRA join forces to put on an extremely informative conference.

This presentation will provide guidance on how to thoroughly evaluate a site’s potential as an in-situ remediation candidate and how to properly design your in-situ remediation program. The Scientific Program Committee, on behalf of the Society for Restoration Ecology (SER), Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) and Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) is now inviting proposals for symposia, workshops, and training courses to be held at the Québec RE3Conference: Reclaim, Restore, Rewild, during 7-11 June, 2020. All proposals must be submitted through the online form provided below and must be received no later than October 18, 2019. Day 1 (Sept 16) started the conference off with a workshop on ‘Landform Design for Sustainable Mine Reclamation’.
On behalf of the CLRA Alberta Chapter Board of Directors and the Golf Tournament Organizing Committee, we extend a sincere thank you to the 2019 CLRA Alberta Chapter Annual Charity Golf Tournament sponsors and participants who helped us raise funds for Western Sky Land Trust.
