Since our last newsletter, the world has changed given the COVID-19 global pandemic. We, at the CLRA, are working to ensure the health and safety of our members by working on audio/visual conferences and workshops to continue to keep you informed on reclamation across Canada.

EVENT UPDATES Given the spread of COVID-19, we are postponing the RE3 event by a full year to 19-24 June 2021.
The Clubroot Management and Testing webinar postponed from March 30, 2020 is regrettably cancelled.

2020 Golf Tournament Update: This week the CLRA Board and the Golf Tournament committee made the difficult decision to postpone our Annual Charity Golf Tournament to 2021. We look forward to hitting the green next year and hope that everyone stays safe in the interim.
The CLRA has been hard at work planning for a virtual fall webinar series and we look forward to unveiling the details this fall. If you or any of your peers have topics or presentations they would like to submit for the virtual webinar series please email us at info@clra.ca.

The guide Reclamation Practices and Criteria for Powerlines addresses those areas where supplementary guidance on reclamation and regulatory closure for powerline right-of-ways is required. This includes: transmission line right-of-ways on both private land and public land, and distribution line right-of-ways on public land. The practices and criteria presented in this document are for use by powerline operators and qualified environmental professionals when removing powerlines, and for assessing powerline right-of-ways and associated lands.
