The Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) will be hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference in Red Deer, Alberta from Tuesday, May 3 to Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Connect with your peers and colleagues alike through the CLRA Alberta RandomCoffee program from January through March 2022!
Thanks to our Sponsors, North Shore Environmental Consultants Inc., and Earthmaster Environmental Strategies Inc. RandomCoffee is back for CLRA Alberta Members! For those folks that are new to what the platform is or need a refresher; RandomCoffee is an opportunity to meet other colleagues in the industry over a coffee or tea (or beer if you like!). Every week, participants will be “randomly” matched and invited to connect with one another. The program should help you re-connect with those you know, as well as meet new people, just like you normally would at various events through the year that just don’t quite look the same yet!

How it Works
Starting the week of January 10, 2022 (so register early to get the full benefits!), participants will receive a weekly email asking whether you’d like to “opt-in” to the program.
If you “opt-in”, a few days later, you’ll receive a match email connecting you.
Once you receive your match, it is up to you and your match to schedule a day and time that week that will work for you.
You can meet via whichever platform works best for you! Microsoft Teams, Skype, Zoom, etc.
You’ll even have your own profile that you can view and edit any time. It tracks who you’ve chatted with so you can always refer back as you need.

The CLRA Alberta Chapter is pleased to acknowledge and commemorate Gerry Bourassa through our Exceptional Volunteer Award. Gerry was a member, volunteer, and friend whose love for the environmental industry and passion for volunteering touched our CLRA community. It is a goal of the Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association to recognize outstanding individuals who follow in Gerry’s footsteps and volunteer for their communities, associations, and institutions.
