Happy 20th Anniversary to our Atlantic Chapter. They will be holding their 2021 Atlantic Reclamation Conference (ARC2021) on November 15 - 19th - watch for details. Yours in Reclamation, Andrea McEachern National CLRA President     REWARD RECLAMATION: IN-TECH RECLAMATION AWARD Nomination Deadline: August 30, 2021 The IN-TECH Reclamation Award (Formerly the Noranda Land Reclamation Award) is one of three prestigious awards of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association / Association Canadienne de Réhabilitation des Sites Dégradés (CLRA/ACRSD). This award celebrates innovative techniques that advance the practice of reclamation in Canada within any sector of industry (i.e mining, forestry, oil & gas). The award is presented in recognition of outstanding contributions of the nominee in the areas of professional practice, teaching, research and/or regulatory development as they relate to innovation within the profession of land reclamation in Canada. Nominees should be widely recognized for their contributions in the field of land reclamation. The award will be presented to an individual person. It has been published twice a year since 2001, with one issue featuring the association’s annual meeting. We are now accepting articles for Fall/Winter 2021, Please submit your article by August 10, 2021 for inclusion. Canadian Reclamation is widely distributed in Canada and internationally and is sent to all CLRA/ACRSD members. The magazine provides CLRA/ACRSD members and non-members alike with an excellent opportunity to publish articles on reclamation. It also provides the opportunity for advertisers to reach an audience whose focus is on reclamation.
