We are accepting abstracts for the CLRA Alberta Chapter 2022 AGM & Conference until December 1, 2021. Be sure to register for CLRA Alberta Chapters event "Improve Collaboration and Efficiency Between Energy Operators and Consultants for Area-Based Closures (ABC)" coming up on October 26, 2021.

1 week left to submit your nomination / application for the CLRA/ACRSD national award programs. Recognize individuals and / or organizations for outstanding contributions to the practice of land reclamation across Canada. The awards are presented annually at the CLRA National Annual General Meeting.

The Ontario Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association along with the Ontario Mining Association offer two annual awards, the Tom Peters Memorial Mine Reclamation Industry Award and the Student Award. We are now accepting nominations and applications until November 12, 2021.

Our members are seeking candidates as an Intermediate Engineer at Story Environmental Inc. and as an Intermediate Environmental Consultant at North Shore Environmental Consultants Inc.. Check out the details on our website.

Last call to register for the webinar on ‘Adapting AGILE & SCRUM to Help Identify, Assess, and Manage Team Workloads’ with Todd Martin, Senior Environmental Specialist at Ovintiv Canada ULC, on September 21st.

We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting abstracts for the CLRA Alberta Chapter 2022 AGM & Conference, this year it will be a hybrid event with the option to attend virtually or in-person at the Cambridge Red Deer Hotel & Conference Centre on February 23 - 25.

2 weeks left to apply for the Linda Jones Memorial Award, two awards are presented annually to students in a reclamation related program at a Canadian institution in recognition of excellence in academic studies which advance the theory, knowledge or practice of land reclamation. One award will be for a poster presentation and one for an oral presentation. Each award will be for $1000 and a one-year membership in the CLRA.
