About the SESSION

This presentation will provide an overview of applicable ex-situ PFAS and selenium treatment technologies to remediate groundwater, surface water and liquids generated during dewatering activities at remediation sites. Case studies will be provided highlighting treatment approaches and outcomes at fire training areas, mine sites, and airports.  

About the Speaker

Paul Newman, ECT2

Paul Newman is a Federal Programs Manager with ECT2, a company exclusively focused on the treatment of emerging and difficult-to-treat compounds, such as PFAS and selenium. Paul obtained his Bachelor’s and Masters degrees in Geology from the University of Windsor and McGill University, respectively, and has spent the majority of his career leading site remediation and reclamation projects in the public and private sectors.
