This presentation will discuss how geophysical methods are used to map the shallow sub-surface and, thus be a very cost-effective tool for Environmental Site Assessments. Some of the advantages of geophysical methods as a part of a site investigation include the relatively low cost, non-intrusiveness, and collection of real-time data. Methods include Electromagnetics (EM), Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT), Magnetics, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and downhole borehole logging.

During this presentation, we will dive into the different uses of drone technology for invasive species management - this can include both scouting as well as precision spot treatments and introducing competitive species. We will also touch on the current regulatory environment surrounding drone spraying in Canada and when you might be able to expect widespread adoption of the technology near you.
