Canadian Reclamation Magazine, the official publication of the CLRA, is now accepting articles and advertisements for the Fall/Winter 2022 Edition, the deadline for inclusion is August 30, 2022.

The Alberta Chapter of the Canadian Land Reclamation Association (CLRA) will be hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference in Red Deer, Alberta from Tuesday, May 3 - Thursday, May 5, 2022.

Practitioners managing sulphur impacts experience challenges related to site assessment, monitoring, remediation and reclamation. InnoTech Alberta, Matrix Solutions and S2 Environmental co-proposed a project and are now working on behalf of a 4-member industry committee to investigate these challenges.

Congratulations to Nova Scotia Lands Inc. on receiving the 2022 IN-TECH Reclamation Award (Group). Since its establishment in 2006, Nova Scotia Lands Inc. has done a diverse array of reclamation projects throughout Nova Scotia.

The Atlantic Chapter of the CLRA is holding the 2022 Annual General Meeting on Thursday, April 7 at 5:00 PM AST in person at the Wooden Monkey Dartmouth or virtually via GoTo Meeting.

Congratulations to Chris Tenszen on receiving the 2022 Dr. Jack Winch Early Career Award. Chris has over 10 year of experience in the environmental industry. He obtained a Diploma with Honours from Lakeland College in Conservation and Restoration Ecology and later graduated with a B.Sc. with Distinction from the University of Alberta in Environmental and Conservation Sciences, majoring in land reclamation.

Congratulations to Dr. Bob Pett for receiving the 2021 IN-TECH Reclamation Award. Dr. Bob Pett has 42 years of experience in environmental research, management, and training in Canada and abroad (including 17 years with NS Department of Public Works).
